VILLAGES
Leaving the Bay of Laganas, we head west, towards the
interior of the island, to Lithakia, where with a deviation of 5km in the direc-
tion of Agalas, after passing throught the village with the picturesque stone
houses, the road leads to the cave of Damianos. Furthermore, on the moun-
tain, above the gorge of Avyssos there is the so-called “Human Cave”, which,
as it is said, was made into a grave for 150 people by pirates.
